Designing a custom bar

For something truly bespoke, such as a bar shaped for a particular space, a bar inspired by a place that matters to you, or a brand world for a launch, we start with a short brief: the theme, the venue, the guest count, your colours and any must-have elements. We then propose a concept with sketches or reference images, agree it with you and your decorator, and build it for the day.

Themed experience bars

Some themes work best as a focused station rather than the main bar: a dessert cocktail station, a garden gin-style botanical bar, a tropical fruit bar or a seasonal winter bar with warm spiced drinks. Simple themed styling can be arranged in a few weeks. Fully custom counters and props need more time, so share your theme early, ideally when you fix your decorator.

Responsible service and licensing

State excise laws govern serving, transporting and storing alcohol, and rules differ between states and venues. Often the venue or a licensed caterer supplies and serves alcohol; your quotation will state clearly who supplies beverages. We guide you on the permissions to check, and we serve only where it is permitted, to guests of legal drinking age.

Can you match the bar to our wedding theme?
Yes. Share your theme, colours and decor brief, and we will propose a bar concept with matching styling, signage and a menu that suits it. We coordinate with your decorator so the bar sits naturally with the rest of the venue.
Can we have a different theme for each function?
Yes. Many families choose a bright, playful bar for the mehendi or sangeet and a more formal setup for the reception. We plan each function separately and quote them together.
How far ahead should I book a custom themed bar?
For simple themed styling, a few weeks is usually enough. For fully custom counters or props, share your brief as early as possible, ideally when you book your decorator, so there is time to design and build.
Will the bartenders dress to the theme?
Where it suits the event, yes. We can coordinate uniforms with the theme or colour palette, for example linen for a tropical bar or classic waistcoats for a vintage evening.
