About our cocktail workshops and masterclasses

A cocktail workshop puts the shaker in your guests' hands. Led by one of our professional bartenders, guests learn the basics of balance, technique and presentation, then make two or three drinks themselves. Our cocktail workshops and masterclasses in Delhi are popular for team building, bachelorette and bachelor gatherings, birthdays, private parties and client hospitality.

Every workshop can run as a fully non-alcoholic mocktail masterclass, which makes it suitable for corporate groups, mixed-age family events and venues where alcohol is not permitted. We bring the tools, ingredients and workstations; you bring the guests.

How a workshop runs
  1. Welcome and introduction: the host bartender introduces the tools and the idea of balance between sweet, sour, strong and diluted.
  2. Demonstration: the first drink is made step by step, explaining measuring, shaking and straining.
  3. Guests make their own: guests make the drink at their workstations with guidance, then taste and adjust.
  4. Second and third drinks: a stirred drink and a creative signature build on the skills learned.
  5. Garnish and presentation: guests finish their drinks and, for team events, present them to the group.

A typical session runs about 60 to 90 minutes.

Group sizes and formats
  • Small groups of 6 to 15 guests work at individual stations with plenty of attention.
  • Larger groups of 15 to 40 work in pairs or small teams, with a second bartender assisting.
  • Team-building format ends with a friendly challenge: teams create and name a drink and present it to a judge.
Mocktail masterclasses

Mocktail workshops use the same techniques with fresh fruit, herbs, house syrups and sparkling mixers. They are ideal for corporate groups, daytime events and family celebrations, and many guests find them just as rewarding as a cocktail session.

Responsible format

For cocktail workshops, measures are kept small so guests can taste and learn rather than drink heavily, water and mocktails are always available, and alcohol is served only to guests of legal drinking age, where permitted at your venue.

Pricing

Workshops are quoted per session, based on group size, format and the drinks taught. Every event is quoted to your guest count, menu and venue. Ask for a free, itemised quote.

Responsible service and licensing

State excise laws govern serving, transporting and storing alcohol, and rules differ between states and venues. Often the venue or a licensed caterer supplies and serves alcohol; your quotation will state clearly who supplies beverages. We guide you on the permissions to check, and we serve only where it is permitted, to guests of legal drinking age.

Questions

Cocktail Workshops and Masterclasses: questions

See all questions

How many people can join a cocktail workshop?
Small groups of 6 to 15 work at individual stations; larger groups of up to about 40 work in pairs or teams with a second bartender assisting. For bigger groups we can run sessions in rotation.
Can the workshop be alcohol-free?
Yes. A mocktail masterclass uses the same techniques with fresh fruit, herbs and house syrups, and suits corporate groups, family events and venues where alcohol is not permitted.
Can you run the workshop at our office or home?
Yes. We need a few tables, access to water and a power point if we use blenders. We bring workstations, tools, ingredients and recipe cards, and clear everything away afterwards.
Do guests get to keep the recipes?
Yes. Every guest receives a recipe card for the drinks made in the session, so they can recreate them at home.
