About our flair bartending

Flair bartending turns the bar into a small stage. Our flair bartenders in Delhi juggle bottles, tins and shakers in practised routines, then pour a properly made drink at the end of it. It suits sangeet nights, cocktail evenings, New Year parties and milestone birthdays, where guests gather round the bar anyway.

Flair works best as an addition to a well-staffed bar rather than a replacement for it. We schedule short performance sets at the moments that matter, such as the welcome hour or after dinner, while the rest of the team keeps service moving. Fire routines are offered only by trained performers at venues that permit them.

Working flair and exhibition flair

There are two kinds of flair, and most events benefit from both.

  • Working flair is smooth, quick movement during normal service: a bottle spun before a pour, a tin flipped while shaking. It adds style without slowing anyone's drink.
  • Exhibition flair is a routine of a few minutes, often set to music, with multiple bottles and tins in the air. Guests gather and watch, then the routine finishes with drinks being served.

We usually suggest one or two exhibition sets, for example during the welcome hour and after dinner, with working flair through the rest of the night.

When flair adds the most

Flair is at its best when guests are already gathered and in a celebratory mood. Sangeet and cocktail nights, New Year's Eve countdowns, milestone birthdays and brand activations are natural fits. For a formal sit-down dinner or a quiet corporate reception, polished classic service often suits the room better, and we will say so.

Space and venue needs

A flair performance needs clear space behind and in front of the bar, roughly an extra metre in each direction, and a ceiling that is not too low. We keep performance areas away from decor, chandeliers and guests' tables, and we confirm the layout with your venue before the day.

Fire routines

Fire bartending is a specialist skill. We offer it only with trained performers, only at venues that permit open flame, and only with a clear safety zone and an extinguisher at hand. Indoor halls with draping, low ceilings or crowded floors are not suitable; in those cases we recommend an exhibition routine without fire.

Pricing

Flair bartending is added to any package. The price depends on the number of performers and sets. Every event is quoted to your guest count, menu and venue. Ask for a free, itemised quote.

Responsible service and licensing

State excise laws govern serving, transporting and storing alcohol, and rules differ between states and venues. Often the venue or a licensed caterer supplies and serves alcohol; your quotation will state clearly who supplies beverages. We guide you on the permissions to check, and we serve only where it is permitted, to guests of legal drinking age.

Questions

Flair Bartending: questions

See all questions

Does flair bartending slow down service?
Not when it is planned well. Exhibition routines are short and timed for moments when guests are gathered anyway, and the rest of the bar team keeps serving during a set. Working flair during regular service is quick and adds no real time to each drink.
Can flair bartenders perform with fire indoors?
Usually not. Fire routines need a venue that permits open flame, high ceilings, no draping or decor nearby and a clear safety zone. Most indoor banquet halls do not meet those conditions. We will check with your venue and suggest a non-fire routine where needed.
How long is a flair performance?
An exhibition set typically lasts a few minutes, and most events have one or two sets. Working flair runs throughout service. We plan the timing with you so it fits naturally into the evening's programme.
Do flair bartenders use real bottles?
For exhibition routines, performers use practice-weighted bottles and tins designed for flair. Drinks served to guests are measured and made properly, so the show never compromises the drink itself.
