About our champagne tower and welcome drinks

The first drink sets the tone. Our champagne tower and welcome drink service in Delhi gives guests a glass the moment they arrive, and gives you a picture-perfect moment, whether it is a couple pouring a tower at their reception or a countdown toast on New Year's Eve.

We build the tower on a stable, level base with coupe glasses, pour it at the right moment and serve the glasses to guests. For welcome drinks, a styled station or butler trays greet arrivals with sparkling wine where permitted, signature cocktails or refreshing mocktails. Champagne or sparkling wine is supplied by the host, venue or licensed caterer, as local rules allow.

How a champagne tower works

A tower is built from coupe glasses stacked in a pyramid, each layer resting on the rims below. Wine poured into the top glass overflows and fills each layer in turn. It looks effortless, but depends on a level, stable table, matched glassware and a steady pour.

Tower sizeApproximate glassesTypical bottles needed
4 tiersAbout 305 to 6
5 tiersAbout 559 to 10
6 tiersAbout 9115 to 16
7 tiersAbout 14023 to 25

The pyramid's glass count grows quickly with each tier, so the tower is usually sized for the moment rather than the full guest list. Remaining guests are served from bottles or trays at the same time, so everyone can join the toast.

Welcome drinks that set the tone

Welcome drinks can be served from a styled station near the entrance or by butlers with trays. A good welcome menu is short: one sparkling or signature drink, one fresh mocktail and water. For wedding receptions, welcome drinks also keep guests comfortable while the couple and family finish photographs.

Sparkling alternatives

For guests who do not drink alcohol, and for venues or dates where alcohol is not permitted, we serve sparkling mocktails, such as elderflower-style or apple sparklers, in matching glassware, so every guest can raise a glass.

Safety and practicalities

The tower table must be level, stable and placed away from busy walkways and the dance floor. We agree the position with your venue, keep a team member beside the tower until it is poured, and clear glassware promptly afterwards.

Pricing

Champagne welcome service is an add-on to any package. The price excludes the champagne or sparkling wine itself. Every event is quoted to your guest count, menu and venue. Ask for a free, itemised quote.

Responsible service and licensing

State excise laws govern serving, transporting and storing alcohol, and rules differ between states and venues. Often the venue or a licensed caterer supplies and serves alcohol; your quotation will state clearly who supplies beverages. We guide you on the permissions to check, and we serve only where it is permitted, to guests of legal drinking age.

Questions

Champagne Tower and Welcome Drinks: questions

See all questions

Do you supply the champagne?
No. We do not sell alcohol. The host, venue or a licensed caterer supplies the champagne or sparkling wine as local rules allow. We tell you exactly how many bottles the tower and toast need, and provide the glassware, build and service.
How many bottles does a champagne tower need?
It depends on the number of tiers. A 5-tier tower of about 55 glasses typically needs 9 to 10 standard bottles, including some overflow. We confirm the size and bottle count when we plan the moment with you.
Can we do a champagne tower with a non-alcoholic sparkling drink?
Yes. A tower poured with a sparkling non-alcoholic drink looks just as beautiful and lets every guest join the toast. It is also the right choice for dry days or venues where alcohol is not permitted.
Where should the champagne tower be placed?
On a level, stable table away from walkways and the dance floor, with space for the couple or host to pour and for photographs. We agree the position with your venue and decorator beforehand.
